On 22nd April India witnessed the deadly Pahalgam terror attack which took the lives of 26 individuals. Following the attack the tension between India and Pakistan is increases. India has closed the Attari-Wagah border, the only land trade route between India and Pakistan. The Attari-Wagah border According to official data, India exported items such as soya bean, poultry feed, vegetables, red chillies while importing goods including dry fruits, dates, gypsum, cement, herbs and so on from Pakistan via the Land Port at Attari. The shutting of border will impact the Pakistani economy . While the direct trade between India and Pakistan via the integrated check post at Attari been minuscule after the Pulwama attack in 2019.
